FAQ

Our Farmburst CBD™ team understands that CBD language can often be difficult to understand.  This is why we compiled this FAQ page to help answer many of the common questions we receive in an effort to help educate you and help you increase your CBD IQ.

What is CBD?
CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol.  It is a natural extract from the cannabis family of plants that includes the hemp plant.  Hemp CBD is widely considered safe to consume and is non-psychoactive.  All of our Farmburst CBD™ products are derived from them Hemp plant which has less than 0.3% THC.

Where do you source your CBD from?
Our Farmburst CBD™ Full Spectrum Hemp CBD products are cultivated using organic inputs & living soil practices from our partnerships with local USA family-owned farms in the USA.

Are all of your Farmburst CBD™ products made from the Hemp plant?

Yes.  All of our Farmburst CBD™ products are cultivated using the Hemp plant and contains less than 0.3% THC with no psychoactive effects.

Do you test your CBD products for quality & safety?

Do you only sell Full Spectrum CBD?
Yes.  In our never-ending quest for “less, but better” we’ve found through extensive research that Full Spectrum Hemp CBD products have shown time and time again to be most superior products on the market (over Broad Spectrum & CBD Isolate).   Knowing this, we made a strategic decision to focus all of our efforts on exclusively producing & providing our loyal customers with industry leading Full Spectrum Hemp CBD products.

What is the difference between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum & Isolate CBD?

Full spectrum CBD uses all of the components of the cannabis plant. The phytochemicals of the plant include cannabidiol, terpenes, essential oils, and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). While the content of THC is still present in the Full Spectrum Hemp CBD, it is less than 0.3 percent.

Broad Spectrum CBD also uses other compounds found in the Hemp plant; however the main difference is that broad spectrum does NOT contain THC (very small trace amounts if any, lower than Full Spectrum).  During the extraction process, the TCH is removed.

CBD Isolate is the most basic form of CBD.  It does not contain any of the other cannabinoids because the pure CBD is isolated.  CBD Isolate is still derived from the cannabis plant, but additional steps are taken to remove all of the other cannabinoids.

What are the benefits of Full Spectrum CBD?

Because Full Spectrum CBD contains all cannabis plant compounds, it may have a more potent effect than Broad Spectrum CBD or CBD Isolate. Many suggest that CBD’s health benefits may be more prominent when multiple compounds from the cannabis plant are present. This is what many researchers call the "entourage effect."   While the content of THC is still in Full Sectrum Hemp CBD, it is less than 0.3 percent.

Will CBD make me feel “high?”
No, you will not experience a feeling of “high” when consuming our Hemp CBD products.  All of our Full Spectrum Hemp CBD products are non-psychoactive and contact less than 0.3% THC.

Will CBD make me fail a drug test?

CBD is generally considered to be undetectable in saliva and urine tests.  However, despite the very small amount of THC, there is still a small possibility that it could create a false positive on a drug test.  This small possibility may increase if you were to take high doses regularly.  If this is a concern of yours, you may want to look into a Broad Spectrum CBD product (we do not sell these) that contains even smaller amounts of THC (or zero THC) and/or a CBD Isolate (we do not sell these either) product.  All of our Farmburst CBD™ Full Spectrum Hemp CBD products contain less than 0.3% THC content and comply with all federal regulations as passed by the United States congress in the 2018 Farm Bill.

Are there any side effects?
Hemp CBD products that contain less than 0.3% of THC are widely considered by many to be safe and effective.  Hemp CBD is non-psychoactive and well tolerated by most people.  That being said, everyone’s body is different and will respond in its own unique way.  It is always best to check with your doctor before starting to take CBD and/or any new supplement program.   This is especially true if you are currently taking any medications, as taking CBD may have interactions with certain medications.
